Altaaj stands for Crown, the Crown of Borneo which hails from Sabah, pure Wild incense grade bliss in a bottle. If you love piercing equatic style ouds which hit you straight in the head this ones for you. The colour of this oil is a deep jewel green, a pleasure to look at before you even uncap and inhale. You could easily mistake this oil for a high end Sri Lankan.

The raw material, chunks of dark well resinated wood, ground up, zero soak, cooked nice and slowley and left to settle. Off the dipstick you are hit with an array of bitter green zesty incense, as if the oil was emitting smoke, not dark heavy smoke or anything burnt but crystal clean piercing Oudiness.

Once applied theres notes of equatic woodiness, tangy apple, lime juice, crushed greenery, sour sweets, ripe guava, plush rainforests, ambergris, cooling mint. As the oil progresses it moves toward a dark spicy vibe with cloves, cumin, black pepper, licorice the base is all about earthiness, oozing raw Oud resin with wisps of a darker smoke sat on a boquet of wild flowers.

This oil offers a real rollercoaster of a ride with strong projection and lasting power. This oil is only 2 months old and with some more ageing it will become better and better, with already what is an outstanding oil.
